UDP Warns Against Undermining Gambia

Lamin N Dibba, Administrative Secretary of United Democratic Party (UDP) has stressed that UDP will not allow anyone to undermine the country.

He called Gambians to stop provoking one another, saying the UDP will not allow anyone to destabilise the country.

“Let us discuss and listen to each other for the betterment of the country, we are in politic not in a war, I must commend the securities for their foresight in the maintenance of peace and stability in the country,” he said.

“We all have seen what happen during the political impasse so we should all ensure that this country remains peaceful and stable. We will fight until today and allow anyone to destroy what we start building,” Dibba, also minister of Agriculture said during a political rally in Gunjur recently.

Ousainou Darboe, secretary general of UDP told the rally that: “Do not use your platform to insult or allow people to insult other people” He stressed that the UDP operates through the battling of ideas and not insults. “Some people will pretend to UDP to insult but they are not,” Darboe, also VP said.
