Mufti Menk Arrives in Gambia

Mufti Ismail Menk, a leading global Islamic has landed in Banjul for a public lecture scheduled for Saturday on 3rd November, 2018 at the Independence Stadium.

Mufti Menk on Friday has Lead the Friday Jummuah Prayers at one of the Country’s Biggest Mosques, in Gambia Pipeline Mosque along the Kairaba Avenue attracted thousands of Muslims.

He will hold a public lecture at the Independence Stadium on topic: “Respecting Differences” on Saturday at the Gambia Independence Stadium 3pm. 

Who Is Mufti Menk?

Mufti Ismail Menk is a leading global Islamic scholar born and raised in Zimbabwe. He studied Shariah in Madinah and holds a Doctorate of Social Guidance from Aldersgate University.

Mufti Menk’s work has gained worldwide recognition and he has been named one of “The Top 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World” since 2010.

He has millions of followers across his social media platforms. Mufti Menk’s personable style and down to earth approach has made him one of the most sought after scholars in our time. He has endeared himself to people with his much loved lecture series, a Mufti Menk trademark.

Ismail Ibn Musa Menk, also known as Mufti Menk (born 27 June 1975), is a Muslim cleric and Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe.  He is the head of the fatwa department of The Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe.
He has been named one of The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan in 2013, 2014 and 2017.
