The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) will on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, officially launch its maiden CAF A Diploma Coaching Course, marking a major milestone in the country’s football development and coach education programme.
The launch ceremony, scheduled for the National Technical Training Centre (NTTC) in Old Yundum at 10:00 a.m., will bring together football stakeholders, coaches and members of the media.
The course, organised on behalf of GFF President Lamin Kaba Bajo and coordinated by the Federation’s Technical Director, Sang J. Ndong, is aimed at strengthening the capacity of Gambian coaches by providing them with one of the highest coaching qualifications offered by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The introduction of the CAF A Diploma Course represents a significant step in the GFF’s efforts to improve coaching standards, develop local technical expertise and enhance the overall quality of football in The Gambia.
The Federation said the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to investing in human resource development and creating a stronger foundation for the continued growth of Gambian football.
