Gambian defender Abdoulie Tamba has returned to Swedish club IFK Norrköping following the conclusion of his loan spell with Finnish side Turun Palloseura (TPS).
The 20-year-old joined TPS on 20 August 2026 in a temporary move intended to provide him with more regular playing time and further opportunities to develop his skills.
Tamba has now returned to Sweden after gaining experience in Finnish football, having struggled to secure regular playing time at Norrköping.
The former Fortune FC player featured five times for IFK Norrköping in Sweden’s top-flight Allsvenskan during the 2025 season. He also made four appearances in the second-tier Superettan.
Primarily a centre-back, Tamba can also operate at left-back, giving him additional versatility in defence.
His return to Norrköping marks another stage in his development in European football, following spells in Sweden and Finland.
The Gambian youngster will now look to build on his experience as he seeks to establish himself further at the Swedish club.
