Following the plea, Sergeant Sallah applied for an adjournment to enable the prosecution to call its first prosecution witness, PW1. The prosecution did not object to bail.
The court subsequently granted Jallow bail in the sum of D50,000 with one Gambian surety.
The surety is required to deposit a valid national identity card or passport with the court registrar and depose to means.
The case has been adjourned to November 19, 2026, when hearing is expected to commence.
