Former BST Galaxy Secretary General Amadou LS Jaiteh has been appointed as the new National Team Coordinator of The Gambia’s senior national football team, the Scorpions.
Jaiteh joins the national team setup with experience in football administration and management, having previously served as Secretary General of BST Galaxy.
In his new role, he will be responsible for coordinating activities surrounding the Scorpions and is expected to work closely with the technical team, players, officials and other stakeholders.
His responsibilities will include supporting preparations and logistical arrangements for the national team during international assignments.
Jaiteh’s appointment comes as The Gambia continues its preparations for upcoming international fixtures, including the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
His addition to the national team structure is expected to strengthen the administrative and operational coordination of the Scorpions as the Gambia Football Federation works to improve the organisation of the senior national team.
