Gambian forward Ba Lamin Sowe scored his first goal for EB/Streymur on Saturday, helping the club secure a crucial 2-1 victory over AB Argir in the Faroe Islands Premier League.
Sowe netted the winning goal in the 79th minute at Skansi Arena to earn EB/Streymur all three points in a tightly contested encounter.
The goal marked the Gambian striker’s first since joining the club earlier in 2026 on a two-year contract and capped a series of consistent performances that have seen him become an important member of the squad.
The victory strengthened EB/Streymur’s position in the league standings, giving the club a valuable advantage over their closest rivals at that stage of the season.
Sowe, who has gradually established himself in the team, will now be hoping to build on the performance and continue contributing to EB/Streymur’s campaign.
