HARTS FC goalkeeper Alagie Njie has been named the club’s Player of the Season after a series of impressive performances during the 2025/2026 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) League campaign.
Njie, popularly known as “Daddy”, played a key role for HARTS FC throughout the season, helping the team remain competitive in one of the most closely contested league campaigns in recent years.
The goalkeeper recorded 13 clean sheets in 29 league appearances, underlining his contribution to the club’s defensive record during the season.
His performances earned praise from supporters and football observers, who highlighted his consistency and influence between the posts.
The Player of the Season award recognises Njie’s contribution to HARTS FC during the campaign and caps a successful season for the goalkeeper.
The award is also expected to boost the profile of the young shot-stopper, who is regarded as one of the emerging goalkeeping talents in Gambian football.
