PSG secured qualification to the Brufut Nawettan Proper on Saturday after a commanding 4-0 victory over Lions FC in the 2026 Brufut Youth and Sport Development Committee Nawettan qualifiers at the Strasser Football Field.
The newcomers delivered a dominant performance in Matchday 2, controlling possession and creating the clearer chances throughout the encounter.
Sheikh Tijan Darboe opened the scoring in the 11th minute to give PSG an early lead before Modou Sowe doubled the advantage in the 66th minute.
Darboe struck again five minutes later with a long-range effort to complete his brace and extend the lead to 3-0. Sheriff Sanneh added a fourth goal in the 75th minute to seal a comprehensive win.
The result confirmed PSG’s qualification for the Brufut Nawettan Proper in their debut campaign.
In another fixture, Nema United also booked their place in the proper stage after defeating Uprising FC 5-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
