German-born Gambian youngster Jasha Barry has completed a move to SV Werder Bremen from Eintracht Frankfurt, marking an important step in his football career.
The 19-year-old signed a two-year contract with Werder Bremen after ending his long association with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he progressed through the club’s youth academy system.
Barry, regarded as one of the promising young Gambian talents in Germany, developed steadily at Frankfurt and gained valuable experience within the club’s youth ranks.
Born in Germany to Gambian parents, the youngster attracted attention with his performances and potential during his time at Frankfurt, earning an opportunity to continue his development at Werder Bremen.
At Werder Bremen, Barry is expected to be integrated into both the U-23 side and the senior team set-up as part of his development programme.
Training alongside first-team players is expected to aid his progress and prepare him for future opportunities
