Round of 16 Draw Sets Stage for GFF Women’s FF Cup Clashes

The draw for the Round of 16 of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s FF Cup was conducted on Monday at Football House in Kanifing, producing a series of competitive fixtures for the next phase of the tournament.

The brief ceremony brought together representatives of participating clubs and confirmed several key matchups as teams learned their paths to the quarterfinal stage.

Defending champions Berewuleng received a bye into the quarterfinals. They will face the winner of the tie between Koita and Lower Niumi as they continue their bid to retain the title.

Elsewhere, Fortune will face TMT FC, while Jeshwang United will take on Immigration. Red Scorpions have been drawn against City Girls, and Police will meet Brikama United in another notable fixture.

In other Round of 16 ties, Future Bi will play GAF FC, Yakarr will face Darboes, and Koita will take on Lower Niumi for a place in the last eight.

The Round of 16 matches are scheduled for 13–14 May 2026, with the quarterfinals set for Friday, 22 May 2026, as the competition progresses toward its decisive stages.
