Newly promoted Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) FC continued their impressive start to the Gambia Football Federation Men’s Division One League with a third consecutive victory from three matches.
The Ferry Boys secured a hard-fought 1–0 away win over Brikama United FC, courtesy of a lone strike from Ansumana Jawara. Brikama United pushed hard for an equaliser, but GPA’s disciplined and well-organised defence held firm to preserve the win.
At the Late Ousman Saho Football Field, TMT edged Samger FC 1–0, with Sanna E.M. Jassey scoring a spectacular goal to settle the closely contested encounter.
In Jarra Soma, Hart Academy and Fortune FC shared the points after playing out a goalless draw.
Meanwhile, Gambia Dutch Lions recorded a convincing 2–0 victory over Falcons FC in Faraba. Lamin Jawara opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Lasana Bangoura sealed the win with a late goal in the 86th minute.
