BST Galaxy Secure Comfortable Victory Over Hawks

BST Galaxy FC claimed their first win of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League season, defeating Hawks FC 2-0 at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum on Saturday.

After drawing their opening match against Bombada FC and losing 2-0 to Gambia Dutch Lions, BST Galaxy found their rhythm with two second-half goals from Mansour Mbaye (47th minute) and Bakary Jatta (64th minute) to secure a comfortable victory.

In other action, Greater Tomorrow FC continued to struggle at home, playing to a goalless draw against Steve Biko at the Brikama Boxba Mini Stadium. Greater Tomorrow lost their first two matches of the season, while Steve Biko drew their last two fixtures after an opening defeat to Fortune FC.

Following three matches, BST Galaxy FC are sixth in the league standings, Hawks FC seventh, Steve Biko twelfth, and Greater Tomorrow fifteenth.
