Chimo United and New Bojang Kunda FC have advanced to the third round of the Brikama Sports Committee (BSC) qualifiers.

Chimo United came from behind to secure a hard-fought victory over Borderline, who had taken an early lead in the 5 p.m. match on Monday.

Modou Gibba put Borderline ahead in the 16th minute. However, Chimo United responded through Yusupha Ceesay shortly before the half-time break, levelling the score.

Abdoulie Sanneh then completed the comeback in the 49th minute with a decisive strike, sealing Chimo United’s place in the next round of the qualifiers.

In the earlier fixture on Monday, Mustapha Fatty’s lone goal against Dangote FC was enough to earn New Bojang Kunda FC a spot in the third round.

Both matches were entertaining, with teams creating several chances that could have shifted the course of the games. However, poor finishing proved costly, as the defeated sides were left to rue missed opportunities in front of goal.
