Investigative police officer, Landing Jallow, Monday continued his cross-examination in the alleged murder trial of Arona Tine at the Banjul High Court, presided over by Justice Ebrima Jaiteh.

The case concerns the death of Fatoumatta Kargbo.

Counsel S. Jobarteh appeared for the state, while Counsel Samuel Ade represented the accused.

During proceedings, Counsel Ade questioned the witness on a video presented as evidence, asking if the person shown was Arona Tine. The witness stated that he saw the accused coming from the bureau.

Counsel Ade requested that the video be played from the beginning, which the witness agreed to. He also challenged the witness, suggesting he did not see the accused entering the bureau and claimed the video had been edited and was incomplete.

Following the exchanges, the court discharged the witness. The trial was adjourned to 2 February 2026 for the hearing of the next witness, PW7.
