Greater Tomorrow suffered a second successive defeat in the GFF Division One on Monday at the Brikama Boxba Mini Stadium.
The academy boys lost 2-1 to Fortune FC, following a 3-0 home defeat to league defending champions Real De Banjul in the opening fixture.
Greater Tomorrow took an early lead through veteran forward Bully Drammeh in the fifth minute. However, Mohamed Jallow equalised for Fortune FC two minutes later, before substitute Bangally Manneh scored the winner by chipping the goalkeeper, securing the petroleum boys’ victory.
In other matches, two newcomers, Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) and Samger, clashed at Basori. Babucarr Cherno Jallow scored his third goal of the season to give GPA another win in the top-flight league.
At the Serekunda East Mini Stadium, Falcons came from behind to draw 1-1 with Bombada. Ebrima Sonko’s stunning free-kick gave Bombada the lead in the 49th minute, but Musa Njie equalised in stoppage time (90+1) to earn a point for Falcons.
