Bundas FC secured a convincing 2-0 win over Johannes FC in the ongoing Manjai Sports Association (MSA) Summer Nawettan, advancing to the round of 16 in the Qcell-sponsored League Cup.

The first two-half goals by Bundas were enough to seal the win and send Johannes FC to a bottom-spot finish in the group standings.

In another fixture, Starlight FC handed King Njie’s FC their second defeat of the campaign, winning 1-0 to finish at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, a clash between Giants FC and Invincible FC saw the latter claim a 3-1 victory, securing their place above the relegation zone. Samba Drammeh starred for Invincible, scoring the first hat-trick of the 2025 MSA Qcell-sponsored Nawettan at the Father Gough Sports Complex.

Drammeh opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a goal off the inside of the crossbar, then added two more clinical finishes in the second half. Giants FC’s Edrisa Danso converted a penalty, reducing the deficit, but it only served as a consolation.

With group C matches concluded, FC Zion topped the standings with five points, level with Ballack FC in second place. Invincible and Giants FC occupy third and fourth positions with three and two points respectively.
