Berewuleng FC on the Verge of History

Berewuleng Women’s Football Team is on the verge of making history by winning the Gambia Football Federation Women’s Division One League. They will be crowned champions if they win their final game of the season.

Berewuleng ran riot at the Brikama Boxba Mini Stadium with a comprehensive 8-0 Win over visitors Jeshwang United FC to keep their title hopes alive. A win in their next match would secure the league title for the first time in the club’s history.

Second-placed TMT also secured victory, defeating Future Bi FC 2-0 in a match played at the Kabakel Football Field.

Serial champions Red Scorpions FC recorded an emphatic 15-0 win over league debutants Yakarr FC at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.

Berewuleng currently sits at the top of the table with 43 points after 17 matches. TMT follows closely with 42 points, while Red Scorpions are in third place with 41 points.

In the relegation zone are Future Bi FC with 10 points and Jeshwang United, who remain bottom of the table with just 2 points after 17 matches.
