TMT Secures Crucial Win Against Defending Champions

In the ongoing Gambia Football Federation Women’s League Division One, Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) FC shocked defending champions Red Scorpions with a narrow 1-0 victory.

The thrilling encounter took place on Wednesday at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Yundum.

After a well-fought match, TMT edged past Red Scorpions 1-0 in the rescheduled week-15 fixture of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s League Division One.

Awa K. Darboe scored the only goal of the game, securing the crucial win for TMT. The victory moved TMT to second place with 37 points.

On the same day, league leaders Berewuleng FC hammered Immigration FC 7-0 in a rescheduled week-13 fixture played at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium.

Sarah Jarju scored a hat trick, while Ellen Gomez netted a brace. Ma Fanta Drammeh and Kaddijatou Drammeh also registered their names on the scoresheet.

The victory earned Berewuleng 40 points after 16 matches, with two games left to play.

Future Bi secured their second win of the season after 16 matches. They narrowly defeated Koita FC 1-0 in their rescheduled week-12 fixture played at the Bakau Mini Stadium.
