President Adama Barrow has underscored the need for inclusive politics and robust institutions, urging Gambians to unite behind a shared vision of progress, peace, and prosperity.
Addressing supporters during a milestone event in Bundung, Barrow emphasized that the National People’s Party (NPP) is built for all Gambians regardless of age, gender, or background and is committed to transforming the country.
“This party is a home for every Gambian who believes in progress,” he declared. “We are building a strong institution that nurtures young leaders and delivers our people from hardship to peace and stability.”
Barrow highlighted the NPP’s focus on critical development pillars, including infrastructure, clean water, electricity, and education, as proof of the party’s commitment to lifting communities.
He also called on party members and all Gambians to embrace unity and reject division, stressing that politics should serve the people. “This is more than a party it’s a beacon of hope and a pillar of democracy for all generations,” he said.
The president’s message resonated deeply with supporters, marking a pivotal moment in the NPP’s mission to strengthen democracy and advance national development.
