The Gambia National Olympic Committee has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Abdoulie Kah as the Chef de Mission (CDM) for the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games to be held from 7 to 21 November 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia under the aegis of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association.
Kah who also serves as a board member of the GNOC and Technical Director of the Gambia Athletics Association will lead Team Gambia to the games expected to see Gambian athletes winning silverware.
The Gambia National Olympic Committee has already started preparations ahead of the games identifying Judo, Athletics, Taekwondo, and swimming, Women’s Basketball 3X3, Karate, and Para-athletics representing seven sports with 24 athletes ready to shine.
