4 Adults, 2 Minors Arrested With 124 Bundles of Cannabis-DLEAG

Four adults and two minors were last week arrested and remanded in custody on the allegation of being found in possession of 124 bundles of marijuana.

The four adults; Abdoulie Bojang, Pa Badjie, OusmanBadjie, and Edrisa Jatta were suspected of drug trafficking.

Foni Bajonkootoo resident Abdoulie Bojang,45, was reportedly arrested at Ginea village on 8 March 2024,with his alleged truck driver associate Pa Badjie.

DLEAG said truck driver Muhammed Sillah ofBassending in the Upper River Region and his 18-year-old apprentice were also arrested in connection with the drugs.

The anti-narcotics agency said the truck and a pickup vehicle were used to convey the suspected drugs.

In other news, a 19-year-old was reportedly arrested in Serrekunda on 9 March 2024, with 27 wraps of Kush. 

DLEAG reported that 28-year-old Edrissa Jatta was arrested at Pipeline on 9 March 2024, with one big bundle of suspected cannabis sativa. 

“The suspects are currently in custody while further investigations continue,” DLEAG said.
