Who certainly deserve credit for being responsive and supportive to the call of a brother and colague.
After long months and weeks of preparations, the day has finally come for one of Gambia’s finest dancehall artists to officially present his first album to his fans/listeners. In a chat with Mahaa’s Manager we learned that: ‘It’s been a tough journey, dealing with disappointments’ The gentleman told the voice that they have faced many disappointments along the way which has affected them in numerous ways. Financial constraints taking a top place as a difficulty for almost every rising singer in The Gambia stands as a similar challenge for Mahaa and his crew. ‘Support doesn’t come easily when you need it the most; sponsors don’t show up to support when you are still struggling rather when you are already at the top and no longer in dare need of support’ said the gentleman, and this has made things a little harder because they have very minimal financial support to help them and for the hardest part, keeping up positive energies of everything going as planned because they do want everything to go as planned.
