Ahmadiyaa Muslim Al- Jammat The Gambia has over the weekend held its 44th Jalsa Salana Annual Convention at the Masroor Senior Secondary School, Old Yundum.
Speaking at the two-day annual convention, Amir Baba F Trawally disclosed that by successfully coming to the conclusion of this year’s Jalsa Salana people should all join in prayers and returning thanks to Allah.
“We have learnt a lot during these past few years the duty is now working towards implementing such in our lives. As the world is busy following the materials and forgetting about their Creator which is the cause of all the difficulties and troubles the world is facing today, as Ahmadi Muslims our main priority should be drawing the attention of people towards them towards Him,” he said.
The Amir urged Muslims to continue following the beautiful example of the prophet as Allah says in the Holy Quran.
While “Our beloved Khalifa His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah be his Helper) is constantly reminding us about our Creator and to fulfil our duties and obligations towards Him. These advices of Huzur (May Allah be His Helper) should always be listened to obey and put in our daily actions. We should be regular in reciting and reading the Holy Quran that is one way that we can turn our attention towards Allah Almighty,” he added.
