An Accident that occurred last Friday at Illiasa main junction that links Farafenni, Kerewan and beyond has caused serious injuries for those that involved in the incident.
The accident as reported by this reporter happened on second day of Eid Fitr locally known as Koriteh and it involved a driver of seven sits bus with registration number BJL 5618 S which knocked down a motor cycle carrying a man, woman, and child. The incident occurred between 10 and 11am.
According to the Public Relation Officer (PRO), the victims were coming from Jumansar Koto of Upper Badibou India in the North Bank Region, while crossing the Illiasa junction, they were hit by the vehicle.
The victims were rushed to Farafenni General Hospital. He confirmed that the victims were treated and since discharged while the rider of the motorbike was referred to Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH) for further treatment.
