GRA Boss Advises Staff to Reserve Institution’s Image

Yankuba Darboe, Commissioner General of Gambia Revenue Authority has advised his staff to be committed to work and endeavor to reserve the institution’s image.

The Commissioner General made this remarks during a visit to the GRA Brusubi office where he was accompanied by other senior officials of his office. Delegation also visited GRA Brikama tax and Jiboroh custom offices.

During the visit he said the staff   need to protect the name of GRA, because whatever wrong a staff do will spoil the whole name of GRA, “so let’s focus because collecting money is not a joke and without GRA it will be difficult for government programs to function well,” he told the staff

“GRA is one of the leading highly respected corporate institution in the country, therefore he let’s do everything possible to maintain the image of the GRA which is very important in our national development,” he added.

He therefore called for the need of “respect for leadership among staff at offices” and urged senior managers to lead by example and conduct themselves in a very positive manner.

The CG as well commended the staff at GRA Brusubi tax branch office for their outstanding performance over the years, confirming that the branch has been demonstrating high sense of commitment and dedication in attaining their task Revenue target.
