Police, students hold advisory summit on crime and drugs

Police has conducted a campaign tour with schools in the Upper River Region to discuss crimes, drugs and road safety in a bid to create awareness among students of the region. The police said schools tour is part of their community policing.

Schools engaged on the topics included Nasir Senior Secondary School, St. Georges Upper Basic and Senior Secondary School. The tour covered dozens of schools across the nation, the police said.

The tour team was led by Chief Superintendent Yerro Mballow, and  the Chief of Operations will continue the visit to other targeted schools to enhance students participation in crime prevention.
