Police clampdown on none users of facemask in Foni  Jalokoto

 

The police over the weekend clampdown on some none users of facemask in Foni Jalokoto, Foni Berefet District as three arrested people spent a night in the dock at the Sibano Police Station on Saturday after having a serious row with the officers for not using facemask.

According to the narration of an eyewitness, he said “the police were passing and saw the boys seating without wearing facemask and asked them why they wearing not wearing their facemasks. And the boys replied that they were sitting in their house.”

He added that the men in uniform went and later came back again and said they have to go with them since they were not wearing facemasks and for refusing order.

Frome there, he said “a fight ensued and the police ran and left their vehicle behind. A reinforcement of PIU then came which lead to the arrest of three of the youths who were involved in fighting with the police. They spent the night at the Sibanor Police but they were bailed today (Sunday).”

The three boys are Alieu Gibba, Omar Gibba and Sadibou Bojang.
