The independent aspiring presidential candidate, who wants to rule The Gambia in 2021 presidential election, has called for unity among Gambians regardless of their political difference.

Marie Sock who was speaking in a news conference at Bijilo, said: “I want to bring Gambians together. That is the reason why I called on the relevant people to endorse me because I think we need to stop separating ourselves with colour.”

“Let us come together as one people and one nation and work to develop this country,” She called on Gambians.

She urged Gambian youth to enlighten their families’ members to ensure they understand more about the significant of unity and collective work in a nation.

According to her, there are many people in the country without a political colour, adding “they should be considered as well because they may have the potential to help in nation building.”
She however alleged that politicians are the ones causing this political difference among the masses just to confuse the public.

It could recall that in December 2019, madam Sock organized a peace dialogue between the Operation 3 Years Jotna and Gambia for Five Years for Peace Building movements in quest to maintain peace in the country.

The aspirant presidential candidate has also advised Gambian young people to avoid being divided by any form of politics.
