CQS Denies Allegations, Assures Quality Services

Comfort Quality Services Ltd has brandish allegations related to awarding of a contract by Gambia Government to produce number plates, disclosing that the Company has fulfilled all the criteria before been awarded the contract.

The management has also reassured the general public of its unflinching commitment to the producing durable and safe number plates for the teeming customers.

This revelation was made at the offices of the company at Kanifing Industrial estate. “Recently we have had a lots of smear campaign orchestrated against our most reputable company regarding the bidding and. awarding of the number plate contract by certain WhatsApp groups.

As a company we want to set the record straight, we went through a transparent bidding process before been awarded this contract,” said Ousman Njai, Operations Manager. According to him, the contract is on a win win situation that accords the police 40 percent of the shares while Comfort Quality Services Ltd will get 60 percent of the shares, adding his raw materials, welfare of staff as all other expenditures will be taken care by Comfort Quality Services Ltd.

“The agreement is Gambia police force will get 40 percent shares while Comfort Quality Services Ltd will get 60 percent but in actual sense if you look at it critically we will get less than the percent earmarked.

Comfort Quality Services Ltd will be responsible for the welfare of the staff, the equipments and materials to be used plus every other logistics that would be needed during the production.

“I think Gambians should be very proud of the ability of the company as well as the young Gambians behind this concept of digitalizing the number plates. These new number plates will go a long way in addressing some of the challenges associated with number plate production in the country,” Operations Manager, Comfort Quality Services Ltd disclosed. Njai revealed.

“All maximum security measures have been put place to secure the data of our clients. There are line of security measures that are inserted into the system to protect the confidential information that we accrue from our developed this customers,” Amat Jangum,system administrator disclosed.

According to him the operating system developed by his company are among the best that reputable companies are using to manage their data.

“With regard to network there is this VPN system that we fixed in all of our offices. This will prevent data theft because only those who are part of the domain can be able to access our data but if you are not in the domain forget it you cannot access the platform,” Jangum told the press.

Until the intervention of Comfort Quality Services Gambian motorists number plates have been characterised with counterfeit number plates, illegal production among others thus making the jobs of the police different especially in hit and run cases. However, officials of Comfort Quality Services Ltd assure that most of the difficulties encountered previously will come to an end, while increasing revenues for the state.
