Star Group Gives to Tanka-Tanka Psychiatric Hospital

Star Group formed by Pakistani investors based in Pakistan and in collaboration with their Gambian counterparts, the managing director of Star GSM Company, Lamin Kaba and Mr. Igbal who is a Pakistani national but currently based in The Gambia on Thursday presented cloths and shoes to the Patients at Tanka-Tanka Psychiatric Hospital in Mariama kunda.

Speaking to our reporter shortly after the brief presentation, the managing director of Star GSM Company, Lamin Kaba expressed his thanks to their Pakistani counterparts for coming to the aid of patients at Tanka-Tanka Psychiatric Hospital.

Kaba advice the officials at the hospital to make the best use of the items given to the patients in order for the patients at the hospital to benefit more from them Star (Group).

According to Star GSM boss, Lamin Kabba this was the first time they presented items to institution in the country particularly to the patients at Tanka-Tanka psychiatric Hospital.

He assured the management at the hospital the Group readiness to continue offering help to the patients at Tanka-Tanka Psychiatric Hospital who are always in need of assistance.

“It is part of our future plans also to offer help to the Orphans especially those residing in the provincial Gambia because they also need care like those in the urban areas,” Kaba explained.

Lamin Kaba called on Gambians especially those who has the means to come to the aid of the patients at Tanka-Tanka Psychiatric Hospital as it is not their (patients) wish to be in that condition.

The staff at Tanka-Tanka Psychiatric Hospital after receiving the items hailed Pakistani Investors and their Gambians counterparts for the timely presentation of the items to the patients under their care.

They promised to take good care of the items presented to them by Star Group with the help of their Gambian counterparts, Lamin Kaba and Mr. Igbal respectively.
