Cuban Medical Brigade in Gambia, in strong words called on kidnappers in Kenya to release their brave brothers immediately, saying that “We trust that our revolution once again, with wisdom and intelligence, will fight for their return.”

Medical Brigade in Gambia in declaration said, with deep consternation, the collaborators of the Cuban Medical Brigade in the Gambia learned of the kidnapping of two Cuban doctors who provide services in the city of Mandeira, in Kenya. The collaborators went to their place of work.

“It is known the altruism, consecration and solidarity that characterize all Cuban health personnel who provide services in difficult and risky circumstances anywhere in the world where they need them.

That’s why they accepted the mission of working in that place, where others do not, but where thousands of people in need of medical attention live,” Cuban Medical Brigade in Gambia said.

The team added: “We repudiate this criminal action against our brothers, we express our solidarity with their families and the Cuban people who today face this sad news.”
