Gambian international winger Suleiman Camara has completed a permanent transfer from Spanish club Racing Santander to Slovak champions SK Slovan Bratislava, the Slovak club announced.
The transfer fee was not disclosed.
Camara, 24, joins the Slovak champions after two seasons with Racing Santander, where he made 60 competitive appearances in LaLiga Hypermotion and the Copa del Rey, establishing himself as a key member of the Spanish side.
During his spell at Racing Santander, the Gambian international helped the club secure promotion to LaLiga EA Sports and win the Segunda División title.
SK Slovan Bratislava confirmed that Camara signed a four-year contract after successfully completing his medical examinations.
The move offers the winger an opportunity to compete in the Slovak top flight and potentially feature in European club competitions, including UEFA tournaments, subject to the club’s qualification and selection.
Camara’s transfer further reflects the growing presence of Gambian footballers in European leagues as more Scorpions internationals continue to secure moves to clubs competing at the highest level.
