Trust FC secured a narrow victory over Raptim FC as Week 5 fixtures of the Kanifing Municipal Region Football Association (KMRFA) Female Third Division League produced closely fought encounters, a goalless draw and one unplayed match.
At Buffer Zone, Trust FC defeated Raptim FC 1-0 in a tightly contested match decided by a first-half strike from Arokey Mendy in the 32nd minute. The goal proved decisive as Trust FC held firm defensively to claim all three points.
At the Manjai Mini Stadium, Box Bii FC and Girls Soccer FC played out a 0-0 draw after a balanced encounter in which both sides created limited clear-cut chances despite solid defensive organisation.
Elsewhere, the fixture between Baggio FC and Jog On Lioness FC was not played after Jog On Lioness FC failed to fulfil the match.
Week 5 results underline the competitive nature of the league as teams continue to battle for positioning in the standings.
