The Gambia men’s beach volleyball team maintained its perfect start at the CAVB Senior Beach Volleyball Continental Championship in Egypt with a 2-0 victory over the Central African Republic.
The Gambians produced a commanding performance to secure their second consecutive win in Pool D without dropping a set.
Gambia dominated the opening set, winning 21-12 before maintaining its momentum in the second set to prevail 21-15.
The victory gives The Gambia two wins from two matches and a perfect 4-0 record in sets.
The team will now prepare for its next Pool D encounter as it continues its campaign at the continental championship and its qualification journey towards the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
