St. Vincent De Paul Basic Cycle School has qualified for the National Schools Championship for the third consecutive year after defeating Kunkujang Upper Basic School in the West Coast Regional qualifiers at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
The victory extends St. Vincent De Paul’s dominance in the regional qualifiers and secures the school’s place among the teams that will compete at the national championship.
Following the qualification, St. Vincent De Paul will turn its attention to the regional semi-finals, where it is scheduled to face Presentation of Mary Basic Cycle School for a place in the regional final.
The encounter is expected to be closely contested as both schools seek to advance to the final of the West Coast Region competition.
By securing qualification for the National Schools Championship for a third successive year, St. Vincent De Paul has maintained its consistent record in school football and will be looking to make another strong showing at the national tournament.
