Somita United FC have been crowned champions of the Foni Berefet District Football Committee 2026/27 Nawettan Super Cup after defeating neighbours Jalokoto United FC in a dramatic penalty shootout.
The final, played on Saturday, 1 August 2026, at the Amsterdam School Football Field in Sutusinjang, ended goalless after 90 minutes of intense competition between the two Foni-based sides.
With neither team able to break the deadlock during regulation time, the championship was decided through penalties.
Somita United held their composure from the spot to secure a 5-4 victory, with Momodou Jaiteh converting the decisive penalty to seal the title for his team.
Jalokoto United produced a determined performance throughout the encounter but were unable to overcome their rivals in the shootout.
The victory saw Somita United lift the 2026/27 Foni Berefet Super Cup trophy after a closely contested final.
