Gambian winger Abdoulie Sanyang provided the decisive assist as HNK Hajduk Split defeated Slaven Belupo 1-0 in the Croatian SuperSport HNL on Sunday.
Sanyang set up the only goal of the match in the 22nd minute after delivering a well-timed cross from the right flank.
Dalisson de Almeida rose to meet the cross with a header that found the back of the net, giving Hajduk Split an early lead.
The goal proved decisive as Hajduk held on to secure all three points.
Sanyang’s performance further underlined his growing contribution to the Croatian side, particularly in the final third.
The Gambian international joined Hajduk Split in 2024 and has since established himself as a regular contributor, providing goals and assists for the club.
