Gambian defender Sainey Sanyang has maintained an impressive record of full-match appearances for Bulgarian side Botev Vratsa, completing 90 minutes in each of his nine starts this season.
The left-back has established himself as a regular member of the team, accumulating 900 minutes across nine appearances in the club’s opening matches of the campaign.
Sanyang’s latest outing came on Saturday when Botev Vratsa suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Spartak Varna in the Bulgarian Premier League.
Despite the loss, the Gambian international’s consistent playing time highlights his importance to the team and his ability to maintain a regular place in the starting line-up.
His continued involvement in Bulgarian football is also providing valuable experience as he seeks to strengthen his position at club level and remain in contention for international duty with The Gambia.
Sanyang will now look to maintain his consistency as Botev Vratsa continue their league campaign.
