Gambian striker Lamin Colley scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner on Friday to give Puskás Akadémia a 3-2 victory over MTK Budapest in the Hungarian NB I, also known as the OTP Bank Liga.
Colley, who started the match on the bench, was introduced in the 63rd minute as Puskás Akadémia pushed for a winning goal.
The Gambian international struck in the eighth minute of added time to seal a crucial victory for his side.
Colley completed the decisive move after fellow substitute Urho Nissilä provided the assist, with the striker keeping his composure to finish and send the home side into celebrations.
The victory was Puskás Akadémia’s second of the new NB I season and lifted the club to the top of the league standings after three rounds.
For MTK Budapest, the defeat ended their unbeaten start to the campaign and left them without a point from Friday’s encounter.
