Three players from the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) First Division League have been honoured with the Space TV and Jollof Football Bantaba end-of-season awards following their outstanding performances during the 2025/26 season.
The awards were presented during the FF Cup final in recognition of the players’ achievements in the league campaign.
Medina United midfielder Adama Kanteh was named Player of the Season after playing a pivotal role in his club’s successful title-winning campaign. Kanteh scored several decisive goals as Medina United secured the GFF First Division championship in their debut season in the top flight.
Gambia Ports Authority goalkeeper Pa Saikou Kassama received the Golden Glove Award after keeping 18 clean sheets in 29 league appearances, contributing significantly to his side’s defensive record.
Gambia Dutch Lions forward Ebrima Diallo was named the league’s Top Scorer after finishing the season with 12 goals and eight assists, highlighting his contribution to his club’s attacking performances.
