Gambian women’s international and U-20 player Joanna Colley has secured a move to Sierra Leonean side Ram Kamara FC ahead of the new season.

Colley, who is contracted to Koita FC, is expected to join Ram Kamara FC on a proposed one-year deal as she continues her development abroad.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at Berewuleng FC, the reigning champions of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s League, where she gained valuable experience competing at the highest level of women’s football in the country.

Her move to Ram Kamara FC represents another step in the development of the young Gambian international, who will now have the opportunity to compete in a new football environment and further enhance her skills.

Colley is also expected to become one of a growing number of Gambian players plying their trade in Sierra Leone, further strengthening the sporting links between the two neighbouring countries.

The move is expected to provide the talented midfielder with additional competitive experience as she continues to establish herself at both domestic and international level.
