The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) is set to hand over eight new pickup trucks to presidents of the Regional Football Associations (RFAs) and the federation’s Women’s Football Unit on Monday.
The handover ceremony will take place at the GFF House in Kanifing and will be presided over by GFF President Kemo Ceesay.
According to the federation, the vehicles are intended to strengthen football administration and operational activities across the country.
The pickups will support the work of the RFAs and the Women’s Football Unit, particularly in implementing football development programmes and carrying out administrative and operational responsibilities.
The initiative forms part of the federation’s efforts to improve logistical support for football development and administration at regional and national levels.
The handover is expected to mark another step in the GFF’s efforts to enhance the capacity of its regional structures and women’s football programmes.
