Gambian football prospect Pa Yusupha Jammeh is set to complete a permanent transfer from GFF League One side Steve Biko Football Club to French club Stade de Reims after the parties reached an agreement.
The move represents a major milestone in the young player’s career following a series of impressive performances in the Gambian domestic league, where he established himself as one of the country’s emerging talents.
Jammeh has attracted attention for his technical ability, consistency and potential, earning interest from clubs outside The Gambia.
The transfer is being facilitated by Gambian football agent Cherno Samba, who has been instrumental in concluding the agreement. Samba has helped several Gambian players secure moves to European clubs in recent years.
The deal is expected to be finalised once the remaining administrative procedures are completed, after which Jammeh will begin his professional career in France.
The transfer adds to the growing number of Gambian footballers making the transition to European football, reflecting the increasing recognition of the country’s young talent on the international stage.
