Gambian international winger Modou Barrow has signed for Northern Cyprus club Mağusa Türk Gücü Spor Kulübü (MTG), the club announced on Sunday.
The Famagusta-based side confirmed Barrow’s arrival as one of its major pre-season signings ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Barrow joins MTG alongside Brazilian attacking midfielder Lucas Matheus Dos Santos as the club seeks to strengthen its squad for the new season.
The 32-year-old winger brings extensive experience from European and Asian football, having played in the English Premier League and Championship, as well as in Sweden, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, where he most recently featured for Sivasspor.
MTG said Barrow’s experience, pace and attacking ability are expected to strengthen the team’s offensive options during the forthcoming season.
The move marks a new chapter in the Gambian international’s career as he seeks regular playing time and a fresh challenge in Northern Cyprus.
Barrow has represented The Gambia at international level and remains one of the country’s most experienced footballers playing abroad.
