Former Gambia Under-23 international and Falcons FC striker Musa Ceesay is set to join Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards.
The forward is expected to travel from The Gambia to Kenya on Friday to complete the formalities of his transfer before linking up with his new club ahead of the new season.
Ceesay leaves Falcons FC after establishing himself as one of the club’s leading attacking players. His performances earned him recognition at national level with the Gambia Under-23 team and attracted interest from clubs outside the country.
The move to AFC Leopards will provide the striker with an opportunity to continue his career in the Kenyan Premier League and gain further experience in continental football.
Ceesay’s transfer adds to the growing number of Gambian footballers securing moves to clubs across Africa, reflecting the increasing recognition of the country’s football talent.
