A four-member Gambian refereeing team officiated the international encounter between Eritrea and South Africa in Cairo, Egypt, with Lamin N. Jammeh serving as the centre referee.
Jammeh was assisted by Nfally Jarju as first assistant referee and Ebrima Sowe as second assistant referee, while Abdallah L. Jammeh served as the fourth official.
Lamin N. Jammeh oversaw the match from the middle and issued one yellow card during the 90-minute encounter.
The assignment provided an international platform for the Gambian officials and marked another involvement of Gambian match officials in continental football.
The participation of four Gambian referees in the same fixture highlights the continued involvement of officials from The Gambia in international football competitions.
