Four Gambian match officials have been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for a CAF Champions League fixture between Tanzanian club Young Africans and Madagascar’s CFFA.
The match is scheduled for 21 October 2026 at the Azam Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Lamin N. Jammeh has been appointed as the centre referee, while Nfally Jarju and Isaha Sowe will serve as the first and second assistant referees respectively.
Abdallah L. Jammeh has been appointed as the fourth official.
The appointments give the Gambian officials an opportunity to officiate at the continental level in one of African club football’s premier competitions.
Rwanda’s Celestine Ntagungira has been appointed referee assessor, while Somalia’s Bashir Olad Arab will serve as match commissioner.
The CAF appointments add to the participation of Gambian match officials in international competitions and provide the quartet with another opportunity to officiate in continental club football.
