Former Gambia Under-20 defender Omar Tamba has completed a five-year transfer to Sudanese giants Al Hilal SC from Gambian club Samger FC.
The move marks a significant milestone in the young left-back’s career as he joins one of Africa’s most successful football clubs, renowned for its domestic achievements and regular participation in the CAF Champions League.
Tamba earned the transfer after impressing with Samger FC, where his solid defensive displays and attacking contributions from the left flank established him as one of the country’s promising young defenders.
His performances also earned him selection for The Gambia’s Under-20 national team, further enhancing his reputation as a player with considerable potential.
