Gambian international Alagie Saine has played every minute of AC Horsens’ opening two matches of the 2026/27 Danish Superliga season, featuring in an unfamiliar left-back role.
The 23-year-old completed the full 90 minutes in league fixtures against FC Nordsjælland and FC Midtjylland, earning a place in the starting line-up for both matches.
Primarily a central defender, Saine has been deployed at left-back in the opening rounds of the season, demonstrating his versatility in adapting to a different defensive position.
His involvement in every minute of the club’s first two league matches highlights his growing role in the AC Horsens squad as the Danish side begins its domestic campaign.
Saine’s regular appearances in one of Europe’s top domestic leagues also provide valuable experience for the Gambian international ahead of future assignments with the Scorpions.
